Sketches

I visited the historic City of Malacca on Malaysia’s west coast in early 2001 to draw some of the vanishing shophouses known from previous visits.
Two months travelling from Cape Town to Nairobi with no timetable resulted in a range of drawings from places that caught my eye, in particular the old City of Zanzibar.
Images from a brief voyage across the subcontinent from Bombay to Madras.
A long ago solo bicycle tour across northern Italy during student years resulted in a lifelong fascination with classical design.
Places visited during travels and others well known from extended residence in South-East Asia.
